Information on Criminologists, Institutions, and Conferences in KrimDok

Abstract

This article introduces the “Persons / Corporations“ tab in KrimDok, which provides expanded access to specialized criminological information. Unlike traditional literature searches, this feature focuses on individuals, institutions, and academic conferences associated with the literature indexed in KrimDok. It is based on data from the Integrated Authority File (Gemeinsame Normdatei, GND) of the German National Library. The central functions of the service are explained using the entry for Cesare Beccaria. The article illustrates how the person search supplements bibliographic information with biographical, institutional, and subject-specific aspects, thereby providing new perspectives for the criminological community.
