Abstract

In view of the demands of the modern labour market, dynamic skills are considered key success factors for the police when it comes to optimizing recruitment. Rapid developments, particularly in the areas of digitalization and artificial intelligence, demand a fast and effective ability to react. As part of a qualitative-empirical study, the current challenges, such as demographic change, of police recruitment are identified and dynamic capabilities are determined that ensure the optimization of recruiting. The police certainly have an innovative strength that can be strengthened with the help of awareness programs and the acceptance of new technologies in order to increase their attractiveness on the job market.
